Earringpalooza

Last night we watched Pan's Labyrinth. I bought the movie when it came out on DVD and have not had the opportunity to watch it. My husband is not a big fan of subtitled movies but agreed to watch. It was rather violent at times but I liked the fairy tale story. I am sure next time, my husband gets to pick the movie.

Before the movie, I set aside some time last night and created some earrings as I needed a birthday present, and besides that, I just needed to make something!

Here are a few things I created...it was a rather productive evening!

blue dichroic glass

pink candy striped furnace glass

purple crazy lace agate

peridot Swarovski crystal

sterling silver fleur de lis

mother of pearl and golden shadow crystals

blue lampwork (a pierced version this time)

Kim,

You sure did have a productive evening! Beautiful work. Wife Barb got up around midnight and made several earrings, she does that when she has trouble sleeping. Now if only I can master using multiple images in a blog post! Rest up - it's Sunday....Ken

Your earrings are wonderful! You must be a "night owl" to work like that after a movie! Great job.

I love the earrings! You sure put your time to good use! Not only make the earrings, but to photograph them and get them on your site... impressive.

Wow, good job, it's fun when it all works and you can produce pieces you like. I think I better get inside and work myself. Wonder what I will come up with?

You busy girl! Lovely colors on all these pretty pieces. Kudos! And I have Pan's Labrynth, too. I also bought it when it first came out. We started watching it and didn't finish it! That's so not like me. It looked like something I would really like but I haven't ever sat down to watch it again.

Wow those blue dichroic ones are awesome! Love'm!
I saw Pan's Labrynth months ago, but it was so vivid I still remember it crystal clear. I really liked the story too. It really appealed to my imagination and love of magic/fairy tales.

Wow, that is a prolific result!! I do that sometimes - work in fits and spurts on something in particular. Keep up the great work :)

Beautiful earrings, Kim! I need to be making some myself but can never seem to find the motivation
